We are very proud to offer your child specialist teaching in communication. This year, selected children were chosen to receive specialist coaching which enabled the undertaking of examination carried out by the London School of music and dramatic arts (LAMDA)

LAMDA is a world famous organisation, founded in 1861. It is one of the oldest drama schools in the UK and has provided the world with generation upon generation of professionals who have reached the highest levels in their field. It is the UK's leading statutory speech and drama awarding organisation. LAMDA aims to improve standards in communication through spoken word, whilst fostering an appreciation of literature, poetry and drama.

The examinations were designed to equip learners, whatever their age or aspirations, with a range of skills which will serve them throughout life. They provided learners with an opportunity to measure progress against an international standard, build self confidence and self esteem.

Mr Gurney, Head of English KES (retired) and former Eton graduate worked with the children and helped them achieve their pass grades. All of the children passed, some with distinction! We are very proud of them all.
