Curriculum Intent

At Westminster Primary School, our curriculum is designed to inspire and equip our pupils with the essential knowledge, skills, and qualities they need to succeed in a rapidly changing world. We aim to foster a lifelong love of learning, ensuring that every child develops the curiosity, resilience, and excellence needed to thrive both academically and personally.

Our curriculum is driven by key principles - Knowledge, Experience, Curiosity, Resilience, and Excellence. We are committed to providing a knowledge-rich education that empowers pupils to understand and engage with the world around them. Through this, we seek to nurture inquisitive minds that are eager to explore new ideas and solve complex problems.

We aspire to create confident, articulate learners who can communicate effectively, think critically, and adapt to new challenges. Our pupils are encouraged to develop a strong sense of self, respect for others, and a deep appreciation for the diverse world in which they live.

Ultimately, our intent is to prepare pupils not just for the next stage of their education, but for life. We want our pupils to leave Westminster Primary School as well-rounded individuals, ready to contribute positively to society and succeed in the workplaces of the future.
